Pure undenatured ethyl alcohol, potable alcohol
Pure (undenatured) potable alcohol, derived from the fermentation of plants containing starch or sugar, is used as a solvent for extracts and active substances. It also has refreshing, vascular toning and preserving effects.

Marula seed oil
The oil extracted from the seed of the marula tree comes from a socio-ecological project in Namibia. Due to the high content of omega fatty acids and vitamins, it has a barrier-strengthening and moisture-regulating effect. It is very rich in antioxidants which counteract skin aging.

Common mullein
Common mullein extract is a traditional natural remedy. It protects against photo-oxidative stress and lends radiance to the skin.

Ectoin
The amino acid ectoin, sustainably obtained using biotechnology, is a protective molecule that microorganisms use to protect themselves from drying out due to heat, UV radiation and high salt concentrations. In cosmetics, ectoin has moisturizing, smoothing and firming effects. In addition, it protects against the negative consequences of UV radiation.
BETAINE
Betaine
Betaine, extracted from beet sugar molasses, moisturizes and soothes skin and hair. Used on hair, it also improves manageability and increases volume.
TOCOPHEROL
Vitamin E
Vitamin E, derived from vegetable oils, stabilizes cosmetics. As an antioxidant, it protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging. It also prevents skin damage caused by UV rays.
SODIUM LACTATE
Sodium salt of lactic acid
This lactic acid salt, derived through fermentation from plants, has a moisturizing effect. It occurs in human skin as a natural moisturizing factor (NMF).

Mica

The extract obtained from the leaves of the olive tree is rich in antioxidant substances such as oleuropein and is thereby active against free radicals. It prevents skin damage caused by UV rays and blue light.

Peony root extract
Peony root extract is a traditional natural remedy. It is an antioxidant and protects against the harmful effects of blue-light radiation. Cell recycling is optimized, meaning the epidermis is strengthened and wrinkles are reduced.
CISTUS INCANUS FLOWER/LEAF/STEM EXTRACT
Cistus roses, rockrose extract
Organic cistus rose extract is a traditional natural remedy. Because of its high polyphenol content, it has antioxidant properties and therefore counters digital stress on the skin. The extract improves the skin’s elasticity and firmness and thus decreases wrinkle formation.

ROSA FLORIBUNDA CALLUS EXTRACT
Black Forest Rose oil-soluble extract from stem cell culture (sustainable, modern and GMO-free method for deriving active substances from plants)
These sustainably obtained extracts from Black Forest rose stem cells were developed exclusively for Börlind. Both extracts have a moisturizing effect. The lipo-soluble extract stimulates the skin’s own hyaluronic acid production, strengthens the skin’s protective barrier and increases skin elasticity. The hydro-soluble extract activates the skin’s collagen synthesis, while at the same time inhibiting collagen breakdown and thus counteracting skin aging.
