What are the eye pads made of?

The eye pads are made from 100% plant-based hydrogel. This means that, like all our eye pads, they are completely free of plastic and silicone (in conventional cosmetics, hydrogel is usually made of silicone). This means we avoid almost 3000 kg of silicone every year. In addition, all ingredients in the eye pads are biodegradable.

What effect do they have? Also in comparison to the other eye pads?

In comparison to our hyaluronic eye pads, the anti-ageing eye pads unisex contain barley and an active ingredient complex of four molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid instead of botanical hyaluronic acid from the trembling fungus and konjac root as the main active ingredients that care for and pamper the eyes. The main difference in the effect of the two eye pads is that the unisex anti-ageing eye pads have a wrinkle-reducing effect and the hyaluronic acid stimulates collagen production, which smoothes the eye area. The barley also protects the skin from free radicals.

How did the collaboration with Matthias Schweighöfer come about?

Matthias has been a fan of our products for a long time. We've been working with him for over a year and now we want to take the next step together because we're simply a very good fit. His “dream” was to have his own beauty product and we quickly found something that suits him and us perfectly. Easy to use, with an immediate effect and a cool look. The result is the new black eye pads.

Why are the eye pads black and are the eye pads only for men?

As a long-time fan of our ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND brand, Matthias is also a fan of the Black Forest, our home. The eye pads are a tribute to the Black Forest.
